Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and visionary Head Chef to lead our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This dynamic role requires a passionate leader with extensive hospitality expertise, a flair for restaurant & banqueting, and a talent for managing kitchen operations seamlessly. As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality, and presentation. Your leadership will inspire creativity among staff, foster teamwork, and uphold our commitment to outstanding hospitality.
Duties
- Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including chefs and kitchen porters, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Develop menus of a high standard, keeping up with food trends, while accommodating dietary restrictions and customer preferences
- Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met at all times
- Manage stock control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize Gross Profit.
- Coordinate banqueting for up to 300, restaurant for up to 120 & a busy lounge & coffee shop with precision and professionalism
- Implement food safety protocols in compliance with regulations, industry best practices & company standards
- Monitor shift operations to ensure smooth workflow, timely service, and exceptional guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and procurement strategies to maximize profitability
Experience
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a hotel environment.
- Extensive culinary background with strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Demonstrated success in supervising and managing large-scale banqueting operations
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and maintain high standards of service

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
