Job Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioners (Baby room and preschool) to join our team for our nursery based in ILFORD [IG1 3BA]
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage and lead a group of children, and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote development across various areas, including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills.
- Manage daily routines and ensure the well-being of all children in your care.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on the best outcomes for children.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities as required by regulatory standards.
- Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in managing children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and fellow practitioners.
- A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment and support children's development.
- A genuine passion for childcare, demonstrating patience, creativity, and enthusiasm in all interactions with children.
