Our Production/Education Delivery Manager leads a highly skilled, motivated and well-
supported team of tutors who consistently deliver safe, engaging and high-quality education
at the Effective Education Centre, learners' homes, schools, Alternative Provision settings,
community venues and online. Every placement is carefully monitored through regular
lesson observations, quality assurance visits, risk assessments and performance reviews,
ensuring consistently high standards across all areas of delivery.

Provision venues and commissioning organisations, who have complete confidence in the

The Production Manager plays a central role in achieving this vision by ensuring that every
tutor, every placement and every learning environment reflects the high standards and
values of Trusted Tutors, enabling the organisation to grow sustainably while maintaining
excellence in safeguarding, educational quality and client satisfaction.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery and quality
of tutoring across Trusted Tutors, supporting tutors and helping ensure every placement is
safe, well organised and focused on positive learner outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Education delivery & quality: Oversee high-quality tutoring across our centre,
learners' homes, schools, Alternative Provision settings, community venues and
online, monitoring learner progress and addressing issues where needed.
Tutor support: Support, coach and develop tutors through regular communication,
lesson observations, constructive feedback and appropriate CPD.
Quality assurance: Monitor placements and teaching quality through proportionate
observations, reviews, feedback and improvement actions.
Safeguarding & compliance: Work closely with the DSL and Deputy DSL to
maintain strong safeguarding practice, appropriate risk assessments and safe learning
environments, escalating concerns in line with procedure.
Operational management: Coordinate tutor availability and allocation, attendance,
timetables, learner records, placement progress and quality assurance information
through TutorCruncher.
Relationships & recruitment support: Build positive relationships with families,
schools, Local Authorities, commissioners and venue partners, while supporting tutor
recruitment, induction and placement matching where required.
Continuous improvement: Improve systems, delivery and efficiency, and support
new placements and contracts as Trusted Tutors grows.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent/relevant teaching qualification.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in teaching, tutoring, Alternative Provision or a
related education setting.
Experience supporting, mentoring, coordinating or managing tutors or other education
professionals.
Good knowledge of safeguarding and a sound understanding of KCSIE.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing
priorities.
Confidence using digital systems and maintaining accurate records.
Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
Desirable - but not essential
3+ years of teaching or education experience.
Experience in Alternative Provision, tuition, SEND or other personalised education
settings.
Experience carrying out lesson observations or quality assurance activities.
DSL or other safeguarding training.
Experience working with Local Authorities, commissioners or education contracts.
Experience using TutorCruncher or a similar education management system.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: £28,000 per annum (equivalent to £13.46 per hour, based on a 40-hour working
week).
In addition to the base salary, the Production Manager will be eligible to participate in a
performance-related bonus scheme designed to reward growth, operational excellence and
high-quality service delivery.
Quarterly Performance Bonus
The successful candidate can earn up to £2,000 per annum through quarterly performance
bonuses, subject to achieving agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Performance will be assessed against areas including:
Growth in monthly tutoring delivery hours.
Successful mobilisation of new tutoring placements and contracts.
Tutor retention and utilisation.
Completion of lesson observations and quality assurance visits.
High levels of client, school and commissioner satisfaction.
Maintenance of 100% safeguarding and compliance standards.
Accurate and timely management of TutorCruncher records and reporting.
Successful oversight of tutoring delivered at the Effective Education Centre.
