Goody Chartered Accountants & Tax Advisors are looking for an experienced Bookkeeping, Accounts & Payroll Assistant to join our practice team in Colchester.
Previous UK accountancy practice experience is absolutely essential.
This is a varied role combining bookkeeping, accounts preparation, payroll and general office administration duties within a busy accountancy practice.
The role will include:
- Bookkeeping for a range of clients
•Accounts preparation
- VAT returns
- Payroll
- Client and office administration
- General practice support duties
Essential requirements:
- Previous UK accountancy practice experience
- Strong working knowledge of Xero
- Excellent organisational skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Calm, professional and able to work under pressure
- Confident dealing with clients and handling administration tasks efficiently
- Ability to manage deadlines and juggle multiple tasks
Preferred:
- BrightPay payroll experience
The position is office-based with flexible working hours, minimum 25 hours per week.
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
We are looking for someone experienced, reliable, proactive and happy to be involved in all aspects of supporting a busy practice.
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
