Bank Staff will provide flexible support across the Youth Zone, working as needed in Holiday Club, and Youth Work sessions. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations and helps maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for young people.
Your mission? To support the Youth Zone and delivery of a vibrant, high-quality youth programme that puts young people first and makes a real impact. You’ll need to be adaptable and ready to jump in wherever needed - no two days will be the same!
- Be part of an inclusive, engaging, and up-to-date youth work team that delivers a programme of activities that are safe, inclusive and meet the needs of young people bringing fresh ideas and skills to the current offer.
- To adhere to Horizon Youth Zone Youth's mission and deliver high quality youth work that supports young people in their personal, social and educational development.
- To motivate, encourage and support young people to try activities and participate fully in sessions.
- Ensure the Youth Zone is a safe, welcoming place for young people, maintaining high standards of behaviour.
- You will support with the delivery of a dynamic programme of activities across the Arts, Sports Recreational or Holiday Club offer (including SEND), ensuring young people enjoy a diverse, high-quality range of activities that inspire growth and development.
- Ensure young people’s voices are championed and advocated for within the Youth Zone, ensuring all services provide a great experience.
- Be alert to issues of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring the welfare and safety of Youth Zone members is promoted and safeguarded, and to report any child protection concerns to the designated Child Protection Officers using policies, procedures, and practice.
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and codes of conduct, with reference to Safeguarding, Health & Safety, and Equality and Diversity.
Pay: From £12.80 per hour
