Position Summary: The Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting a distributed, facility-based IT environment. As the go-to person for everything from Help Desk escalations to Azure administration, M365 management, endpoint deployment, and network troubleshooting, this hands-on, broad-scope role will have variety over specialization and makes things work.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Own and resolve Help Desk escalations across hardware, software, and connectivity issue.

Administer and maintain Microsoft 365 and Azure environments: user provisioning, licensing, security policies, Intune/endpoint management.

Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure – switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN – supporting a facility-based operation.

Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint devices across the organization.

Document processes and systems as they continue to improve, building institutional knowledge that outlasts any one person.

Identify opportunities to modernize legacy workflows and propose practical alternatives.

Partner with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and negotiate improvements.

Support onboarding/offboarding, asset tracking, and general IT hygiene.

Contribute to broader IT projects: tenant migrations, security hardening, tooling evaluations.

Cross-train colleagues on new systems and best practices.

Help shape IT policy and standard operating procedures as the team matures.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualifications and Experience:
-
4+ Years in a hands-on IT administrator or infrastructure support role.

Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
-
Practical experience with Azure: identity, basic resource management, endpoint policies.

Ability to troubleshoot networking issues: LAN/WAN, VPN firewall basics.

Previous endpoint management experience, e.g. Intine or equivalent MDM/RMM tooling.

Strong communication skills in order to explain technical issues to non-technical colleagues.

Previous experience supporting a manufacturing, distribution, or multi-site environment.

Previous exposure to ERP systems or business-critical line-of-business applications.

Scripting basics (PowerShell) for automation of routine tasks.

Famliarity with ITSM platforms, e.g. FreshServices, ServiceNow, or similar)

Prior experience working across multiple legal entities or brands under one IT umbrella a plus.

Ability to work in-office up to 3 days per week.
