Responsibilities
- Assist nursery staff in supervising children during daily activities, playtime, and mealtimes to promote safety and engagement
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate educational activities that stimulate early childhood development
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment by following health and safety guidelines at all times
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure clear understanding of daily routines and individual needs
- Support management in monitoring children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to senior staff as needed
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and preparing learning materials
- Drive or accompany children on outings or trips when required, ensuring their safety throughout
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated management and leadership abilities to support team coordination and child supervision
- Childcare qualifications or nursery experience are preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Valid driving license is advantageous for transporting children or supporting outdoor activities
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, or weekends as needed
