SELF-EMPLOYED Live-in Carer Required – North London
We are looking for two compassionate and experienced live-in carers to support a lovely lady in her 90s who lives in her own home in North London.
Our client is living with dementia and has a pacemaker. She is keen to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in familiar surroundings. She enjoys spending time at home, watching television, and relaxing in her beautiful three-acre garden.
Your Role
As a live-in carer, you will provide person-centred support, including:
- Personal care
- Medication prompting and support
- Assistance with dressing and daily routines
- Preparing nutritious meals
- Providing companionship and emotional reassurance
- Mobility support
- Maintaining accurate daily care records
- Night-time support, as the client may wake 2–3 times during the night
We are working with our client to create a package of 3 carers to do both days and nights to support the client so you will work two weeks on and have one week off.
The ideal carers will:
- Have experience supporting people living with dementia.
- Be patient, kind, and compassionate.
- Be confident providing personal care and promoting independence.
- Be reliable, professional, and able to work collaboratively with the family and wider care team.
- Enjoy providing companionship and building meaningful relationships.
MUST BE SELF-EMPLOYED AND REGISTERED WITH HMRC
MUST HAVE DBS ON UPDATE SERVICE
