About the Role
We're looking for a practical, organised, and reliable Warehouse & Equipment Coordinator to manage our stock and equipment area. This is a hands-on role that's essential to keeping our operations running smoothly.
Based in our warehouse, you'll be responsible for maintaining stock levels, preparing equipment and chemical kits for our teams, carrying out basic equipment maintenance, and ensuring everything is clean, safe, organised, and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment and chemical kits for operatives before each job.
- Receive equipment back from site, clean, inspect, and store it correctly.
- Monitor stock levels and report low or missing items.
- Keep the warehouse and stock area clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment (e.g. replacing fuses, repairing hoses, changing small parts).
- Identify damaged or faulty equipment and arrange further repairs where required.
- Ensure all equipment is safe, serviceable, and available when needed.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Good practical and mechanical skills.
- Confident using tools and carrying out basic repairs.
- Well organised with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of your work area.
- Understanding of safe working practices when handling chemicals and equipment.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse, stores, or maintenance experience.
- Experience working with cleaning machinery or specialist equipment.
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling procedures.
- Willingness to join an optional out-of-hours call-out rota.
Hours
- Full-time hours available
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Occasional overtime may be available during busy periods.
