Park Surgery is a friendly and patient-focused GP practice seeking a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by undertaking a range of clinical duties, including:
- Phlebotomy (blood taking)
- NHS health checks
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Height, weight and BMI measurements
- ECGs
- New patient health assessments
- Basic wound care and dressings
- Stock monitoring and clinical room preparation
Applicants should have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional manner, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Previous experience in primary care is desirable, although candidates with relevant healthcare experience and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Essential Requirements:
- UK Phlebotomy Qualification
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Competent IT skills
Desirable:
- Experience working within General Practice
- Relevant healthcare qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
