Complex Care Assistant
About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Care Workers to provide one-to-one support for an adult with complex needs in their own home and community.
Vacancy 1: - Wellington, Telford
Position: Support Worker
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 10.00am - 19.00pm (9 hours) &14.30pm- 22.00pm (7 hours)
Contract: 27.5 permanent contract
Shift Type: Days
You will be supporting a client with down syndrome. Our client is non-verbal and enjoys an active and fulfilling lifestyle. They love visiting theme parks, attending live music gigs and concerts, and taking part in community activities. We are seeking someone who shares a positive outlook on life and enjoys helping others make the most of every day.
Vacancy 2: - Newport, Telford
Complex Care Assistant
Pay: £15.50 per hour
Hours: 08.00am - 20.00pm (12 hours) & 20.00pm - 08.00am (12 hours)
Contract: 24 or 36 hours
Position: Days & Nights
You will be supporting a friendly female client living with fibromyalgia. She is fully verbal, independent in making her own decisions, and enjoys spending time in her garden with her beloved dogs. Your role will involve providing person-centred support to help her maintain her independence and enjoy the activities she loves. Previous experience supporting individuals who experience seizures would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
Please note: JAM CARE does not provide domiciliary care and you will be providing care to one client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing all aspects of personal care and daily living support
- Supporting the client with community access and social activities
- Accompanying the client to theme parks, concerts, and other leisure activities
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the client
All applicants must have a minimum of 6 months’ UK care experience.

Requirements:
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- At least 6 months’ UK care experience
- UK driving licence and access to a car
- Good communication skills
