We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
- Organise daily tasks and delegate responsibilities appropriately to optimise productivity
- Monitor staff performance, conduct appraisals, and provide constructive feedback
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards
- Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels during operational hours
- Assist with training new employees and facilitate ongoing professional development programmes
- Maintain excellent communication channels within the team and with other departments
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Oversee merchandising strategies and ensure visual standards are upheld across the retail space
- Support administrative duties such as reporting, stock management, and record keeping
Skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance communication across diverse teams and customers
- Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams in retail or sales environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail and time management capabilities
- Effective communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management is advantageous
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and record keeping
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining professionalism under pressure
- Organised approach with strong organisational skills to streamline operations and improve team performance
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
