The Instrumental Music Teacher will provide high-quality individual and small-group instrumental tuition to students accross the Academy. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop confidence, technical proficiency and enjoyment in music-making while supporting progression through graded examinations and performance opportunities where appropriate.
Alongside its strong curriculum offer, the Academy also provides a range of opportunities for students to engage in extracurricular music through bands, a choir and an orchestra. The music department also contributes to the wider life of the Academy through our annual Carol Service with a full Year 7 choir, as well as contributing to other events such as our annual School Production and Exhibition of Student Talent events.
