Job Title: Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: North of Banbury (OX17)
Salary: £37,562 – £38,827 per annum
Hourly Rate: £18.06 – £18.67 per hour
Working Hours / Shift Pattern: 40 hours per week. Flexibility required to cover shifts and sleep-ins when needed. Participation in the on-call rota required.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Sleep-ins: As required by the needs of the home | £46.01 per sleep

Service Users: Young people aged up to 18 years
Qualifications Required: QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience Required: Previous experience working with children and young people in a leadership role within a residential or similar setting

Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager who is passionate about supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
- Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people in line with Ofsted regulations and company policies
- Coach, support and develop staff to maintain high standards of care
- Work collaboratively with external professionals and agencies
- Support admissions, risk assessments and care planning processes
- Promote positive behaviour, education and independence
- Complete records and documentation to a high standard
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the service
A full UK driving licence is essential.
