Duties
- Provide expert hair styling, cutting, trimming, and grooming services tailored to each client’s preferences
- Perform professional barbering techniques including shaving, beard trimming, and facial grooming
- Engage with clients using excellent communication skills to understand their needs and recommend suitable styles
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for all tools, equipment, and workstations
- Build strong rapport with clients to encourage repeat business and positive word-of-mouth
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends and styling techniques through ongoing learning
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently while ensuring timely service delivery
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling and barbering with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Strong communication skills in English to clearly explain styling options and grooming advice
- Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and hygiene practices
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced salon or barbershop environment is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
