The Role
As a Nursery Nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. Working alongside experienced Early Years professionals, you'll help create positive experiences that encourage children to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.
Your Responsibilities
- Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Create a warm, safe and stimulating environment where every child feels valued.
- Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities to support children's development.
- Observe, assess and contribute to recording children's progress.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Encourage children's independence, confidence and social development.
- Support with personal care where required.
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusive practice at all times.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for enthusiastic and nurturing individuals who have:
- A CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or an equivalent recognised Early Years qualification).
- Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
- A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient and positive approach.
- The ability to create engaging and imaginative learning experiences.
