Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out masonry, carpentry, roofing, and welding tasks.
- Lay bricks and blocks with precision to meet project specifications.
- Construct and repair structures using appropriate materials and techniques.
- Assist with the installation of roofing systems, ensuring durability and weather resistance.
- Perform welding operations to join metal components securely.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, reporting any faults or damages promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding or related construction trades is preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for the role.
- Knowledge of bricklaying techniques and masonry principles.
- Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
