Our Sheffield client are seeking a dedicated HGV technician to join their team full time !
Work Life:
- Monday to Friday
- A typical day from 7:00 AM to 17:00 PM
- Saturday 07. 00 AM to 12:00 Lunch
- Not needed for every Saturday but need flexibility
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with Company and legislative requirements
- Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of the fleet.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment is in peak condition.
- Collaborate with the team to keep operations running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Experience with HGV's
- Strong mechanical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
- A can-do attitude with a commitment to excellence.
