Anderson Power Generation (APG) is a growing industrial and commercial electrical specialist based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. We deliver design, installation and maintenance across commercial and industrial projects, LV & HV installations, power generation, plant rooms & data center works, with clients across the UK and Europe. The role
You’ll take day-to-day charge of the electrical works on our Bradford project, leading a team of electricians and subcontractors and acting as APG’s first point of contact on site. This is a permanent position: when Bradford completes, you’ll move on to lead future APG projects, some of which may involve working away (accommodation and away allowance provided).
· Supervising electricians, apprentices and subcontractors to deliver safe, quality installations on programme
· Managing site health & safety: inductions, toolbox talks, RAMS briefings and permit compliance
· Planning labour, materials and plant; liaising with the main contractor, client and APG project management
· Quality checks, snagging and progress reporting
· Hands-on installation support where the job demands it
What we’re looking for
· Time-served electrician: NVQ Level 3 (C&G 2365/5357 or equivalent), AM2 and 18th Edition (C&G 2382)
· SSSTS or SMSTS
· ECS/JIB Gold Card (Approved Electrician or Supervisor grade)
· Proven experience supervising commercial or industrial electrical projects
· Confident communicator – able to lead a team and deal with main contractors and clients
· Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work away on future projects when required
Desirable (not essential): C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing, First Aid at Work, IPAF/PASMA, and experience with solar PV, generators or HV systems.
