Responsibilities
- Assist Service User with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity in their own homes.
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences.
- Maintain clear communication with team members, clients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery and address any concerns promptly.
- Use IT systems efficiently to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately.
- Drive or accompany clients on errands or appointments when required, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules.
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality at all times in accordance with care regulations.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Basic IT skills are required for documentation and updating electronic care records.
- A valid driving license and a Car
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
