Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Chiller Engineer to join our expanding South East team.
The Role
This is a mobile position carrying out planned maintenance, reactive repairs and fault finding on a wide range of commercial and industrial chiller systems across customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial chiller equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults on air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
- Service and maintain process cooling equipment.
- Work on associated HVAC plant including pumps, controls, valves and heat exchangers.
- Complete detailed service reports and documentation using mobile devices.
- Respond promptly to reactive breakdowns and emergency callouts.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships and deliver a high standard of service.
Requirements
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification (Essential).
- Experience with manufacturers such as Carrier, Trane, Daikin, York, Mitsubishi or Climaveneta would be advantageous.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of refrigeration circuits and HVAC controls.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
