Maverick Education Consultants Ltd (trading as Maverick Education Group) is a UK-based education consultancy helping prospective students secure places at top UK universities and colleges. We work closely with a network of partner institutions across the UK to guide candidates through admissions, applications, and enrolment. Our office is based in the heart of Shoreditch, Central London.
The Role
We are looking for experienced Student Advisors to join our growing team. You will work directly with prospective students, guiding them through the university application process and helping them find the right course and institution for their goals.
This role is best suited to candidates who already have hands-on experience in education consultancy, student recruitment, or admissions advising. Key Responsibilities
- Advise and support prospective students throughout their university application journey
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with candidates from initial enquiry through to enrolment
- Liaise with partner universities and colleges on behalf of applicants
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and application progress
- Represent Maverick Education Group professionally at all times, both in person and remotely
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in student recruitment, education consultancy, or admissions advising
- Confident, patient, and polite manner when dealing with prospective students — this matters more than any other single skill
- Comfortable using computers and standard office/CRM software
- Fluency in English plus one or more of the following languages is highly desirable, given our student base: Romanian, Bulgarian, Italian, Turkish, or Ukrainian
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Based in or able to relocate to London, and available to work from our Shoreditch office
Working Arrangements
- Full-time, office-based role at our Shoreditch, Central London location
- Working hours can be flexible and tailored to suit the successful candidate's circumstances
- Immediate start available for the right candidates
Remuneration
Salary is highly competitive and will be tailored to reflect the experience and skill level of each successful candidate.
Pay: £25,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
