About Adrodd
Adrodd is a new digital language-learning app dedicated to helping learners build confidence in Welsh through engaging, level-appropriate stories.
Whether it is on the way to work or on a lunch break, Adrodd offers bitesize stories for learners to read and listen to. Not only will a broad catalogue of stories be available, users will also have access to one-click translations, definitions, grammar rules, creating flashcard decks, and tracking their progress.
We are commissioning high-quality graded readers designed specifically for adults and teenagers learning Welsh.

The role
As an audiobook narrator you will do voice over work on an ad-hoc basis as our authors develop new stories for the platform.
What we are looking for
- Native Welsh speaker
- Experience performing speeches/poetry or experience as an actor/broadcaster/voice over actor.
- Flexibility to take on ad-hoc work.
- Have the necessary audio equipment to record audio and edit. (Professional equipment is not necessary)
Compensation
Payment will be based on per-hour of finished audio (pro-rata) in the range of £100 - £150 depending on experience.
