About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our Change and Transformation team. In this role, you will act as a key individual contributor and cooperative teammate, operating under pressure across multiple projects simultaneously. You will diagnose complex business problems, gather critical requirements, and deliver realistic solutions to support our evolving operating models.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements & Documentation: Execute core BA responsibilities including requirements gathering, user story definition, functional specifications, and data modeling.
- Process Engineering: Conduct comprehensive process mapping, gap analysis, and financial appraisal techniques.
- Workshop Facilitation: Organize and facilitate engaging collaborative workshops, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build sustainable relationships across the business, leveraging active listening and investigative skills to dig deeper into problems.
- Communication & Presentation: Deliver clear, concise written and verbal presentations to both peer groups and senior stakeholders.
- Conflict Resolution: Apply strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills to manage differing stakeholder priorities.
Requirements & Experience
- Financial Services Expertise: Solid understanding of Wealth Management, Private Banking, and Commercial Banking.
- Transformation Operating Models: Deep understanding of IT & Transformation operating models, including technology architectures and operational processes.
- Frameworks: Significant experience working within change environments utilizing both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Mindset: A self-starter and lifelong learner who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and loves sharing knowledge for collective team success.
Technical Skills & Tools
- Core Systems: Mandatory hands-on experience using JIRA.
- Productivity & Diagramming: High proficiency in MS Excel and MS Visio, alongside standard MS Office applications.
Qualifications
- BCS Advanced Diploma in Business Analysis (Obtained or actively working towards).
- APM Project Fundamentals (PFQ) or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
