Role: Event Staff (MCFC stadium)

About the Role
Northern Soul is looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused Event Staff to join our team across three locations at the Etihad Stadium. With the football season now underway and a busy concert schedule ahead, we need people who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This is a hands-on role where no two shifts are the same — perfect for individuals who enjoy lively atmospheres, teamwork, and delivering great service to large crowds.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers quickly and confidently in a busy event setting
- Taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a positive customer experience
- Assisting with basic food preparation and cooking (training provided; experience a bonus)
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of workstations
- Supporting team members to ensure smooth service during peak times
- Following all food hygiene and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in events, stadiums, or football environments preferred
- Basic cooking or cheffing experience is a strong advantage
- Confident communicator who is comfortable engaging with customers
- Hardworking, proactive, and able to stay switched on in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping
- Positive attitude and strong team player
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods (minimum 4 hours)
- Able to work in a busy, sometimes loud environment
