Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional childcare, supporting children's development, and fostering a positive learning environment. Your leadership and management skills will help ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development in line with curriculum guidelines
- Provide high-quality childcare tailored to individual children's needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Lead and supervise team members, offering guidance and support to maintain a cohesive and motivated staff team
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress and any concerns
- Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and daily routines
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and safeguarding policies and procedures
- Support the induction, training, and ongoing professional development of nursery staff
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Demonstrated management or leadership skills within a childcare environment
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices for early childhood development
- Experience working with diverse groups of children and families
- Valid driving license is desirable for transportation duties or outreach activities
