Production Operatives – IG Doors Ltd

We are keen to hear from experienced production operatives with skills in either joinery or machinery operation.
At IG Doors Ltd, exceptional attention to detail is at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and we are looking for experienced Production Operatives who share our commitment to precision, quality workmanship, and maintaining the highest standards across all aspects of production.
Shift Pattern (Rotating):
- Day Shift: Monday to Thursday: 05:45 – 13:45, Friday: 05:45 – 11:00
- Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday: 05:45 - 15:45, Friday: Day off
Pay:
- Starting rate: £12.71 per hour
- Plus 27.5% shift allowance when working afternoon shifts (alternate weeks)
- Following successful completion of a 6-month probationary period and satisfactory training progress: £12.90 per hour plus 27.5% shift allowance on the afternoon rotation
About the Role:
You will be working in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility across slab, door, or frame assembly areas. This role requires a high level of accuracy, consistency, and a proactive approach to maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure products meet required quality standards and output targets
- Ensure health and safety is the top priority in every task undertaken
- Accurately follow works order instructions in line with customer specifications
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, optimising workspace efficiency
- Report any issues or discrepancies with equipment or procedures.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with line managers and colleagues
- Adhere strictly to quality standards, procedures, and company regulations
- Uphold customer service and product quality requirements at all times
- Participate in internal and external training as required
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to the role
