Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in an office/factory environment, ensuring that all areas are tidy, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors. This role requires effective communication, a strong work ethic and a reliable and conscientious approach to your work.
Due to the location of the site it would be advantageous to have transport.
Reliability, flexibility and good timekeeping is critical to this role. Also opportunities to cover other local contracts on an overtime basis.
Hours of work are 6*.00am to 09.30am (flexible), Monday to Friday. Total 17.5 hours* per week paid monthly.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, reception, restrooms, kitchens, Toilets and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
Experience
- Previous experience in a commercial cleaning role is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards is essential.
