Internal Sales Support – Build Your Career with Boniplas
At Boniplas, we’re not standing still. As a fast-growing, design-led supplier into the UK’s leading builders’ merchants and distributors, we’re looking for a sharp, organised and customer-focused individual to strengthen our Internal Sales team at our Durham head office.
This is not a passive admin role. It’s a central position within the business, sitting at the heart of sales, customer experience and operational delivery. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, pace and relationships matter equally, this will suit you.
The Role
You will be one of the key points of contact for our customers, supporting the sales function to ensure orders flow seamlessly from enquiry to delivery. You’ll be trusted to manage detail, solve problems and keep communication tight across customers and internal teams.
A typical day will see you balancing customer interaction, order processing, and internal coordination. You’ll deal with everyone from trade counter teams to business owners, building strong, professional relationships that keep customers coming back.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Supporting the daily flow of sales activity by accurately processing orders, quotations and enquiries through our CRM and ERP systems, ensuring nothing is missed and everything is delivered on time.
Acting as a reliable point of contact for customers, responding promptly to queries via phone, email and digital channels, providing clear, confident and commercially aware communication.
Working closely with warehouse, transport, procurement and finance to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded, resolving issues before they become problems.
Managing and maintaining accurate customer and order data across systems, with a strong focus on attention to detail and data integrity.
Keeping on top of multiple priorities, organising follow-ups and proactively supporting sales activity to maximise opportunities with existing customers.
Contributing ideas to improve how we operate. We expect you to spot inefficiencies and suggest better ways of doing things—your input matters here.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll already have experience in a sales support, customer service or administrative role—ideally within construction materials, builders’ merchants or distribution, although not essential if you can demonstrate pace and commercial awareness.
You’ll be highly organised, comfortable managing multiple tasks, and confident working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Strong IT skills are essential. You should be comfortable working across Excel, Outlook and CRM/ERP systems, with the ability to pick up new platforms quickly.
Communication is key in this role. You’ll need to be clear, professional and confident when speaking to customers and colleagues, with the ability to adapt your approach depending on who you’re dealing with.
Most importantly, you’ll take pride in your work, care about getting things right, and understand the impact your role has on the wider business.
Why Join Boniplas
You’ll be joining a business that is growing quickly, with strong ambition and a clear direction. We invest in people who want to develop, and this role can act as a genuine stepping stone into broader sales, commercial or operational positions within the company.
We offer a supportive but high-performance environment where you’re trusted to take ownership, contribute ideas and make a difference.
Alongside a competitive salary, you’ll benefit from 28 days holiday (increasing with service), pension scheme, free onsite parking, team events, and the opportunity to grow with us as we expand.
