Job Overview
This role focuses on cleaning the shared and communal areas of student accommodation — think hallways, corridors, stairwells, shared kitchens, and communal bathrooms, rather than individual bedrooms. Working to a consistent weekly schedule from Monday to Thursday, you'll keep these high-traffic spaces clean, hygienic, and welcoming for students and staff, meeting the standards expected by both the university and Prime Cleaning Solutions Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean communal areas of student accommodation, including hallways, corridors, and stairwells, to a high standard
- Sanitise shared kitchens, communal bathrooms, and other shared facilities
- Clean classrooms and communal campus spaces as required
- Replenish essential supplies in communal areas (e.g. soap, toilet paper)
- Safely dispose of waste and follow recycling procedures
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to the supervisor
- Use, maintain, and store all cleaning equipment correctly
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (1 year preferred, but full training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and genuine pride in quality work
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Good communication skills in English
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Driving licence desirable but not essential
