An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse & Facilities Coordinator to join our team.
Platinum Print is a Yorkshire-based marketing, design, print, signage and direct mail company, with a strong focus on quality and customer care.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Warehouse & Facilities Coordinator to take responsibility for the smooth running of our goods-in/goods-out operations, warehouse areas, Health & Safety, waste management and general building and production support.
This is a hands-on role that plays an important part in keeping our site safe, clean, organised and operational, ensuring materials and stock are managed accurately and that production is supported without interruption.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage goods in and goods out, ensuring deliveries, stock and paperwork are accurate and processed efficiently.
- Maintain organised and accurate warehouse stock, including stock control, returns and stock records.
- Keep the warehouse, production areas and rear yard clean, tidy, safe and well organised.
- Manage waste and recycling, ensuring correct segregation and timely collections.
- Carry out routine site Health & Safety checks and report or escalate any issues.
- Monitor building and production areas for maintenance issues, hazards and potential disruption.
- Support production with material movement, paper stock, deliveries and hand-finishing as required.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve issues quickly and minimise disruption to production.
- Maintain accurate stock, waste, safety and maintenance records.
- Undertake occasional deliveries and other reasonable warehouse/site duties as required.
Qualities we are looking for:
- Organised, reliable and proactive, with good attention to detail.
- Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
- A good communicator who can work well with others and take ownership of tasks.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse and production environment.
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing or production experience is desirable.
- Forklift experience/licence would be an advantage.
