Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Early Years Practitioner! In this dynamic role, you will play a vital part in nurturing young children’s development, fostering a safe and stimulating environment where they can explore, learn, and grow. Your passion for childcare and early childhood education will inspire young minds and support their journey toward independence and confidence. You must hold a minimum SVQ level 3 in childcare or an equivalent and be able to register with the SSSC without conditions.
We are offering full time and part time posts, hours TBC
Duties
- Create engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional development for young children
- Supervise children during daily routines, playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure safety and well-being
- Support children’s individual needs through personalized care plans and attentive communication
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and developmental milestones
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child’s development
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Passionate about nurturing young minds and supporting their developmental journey
