Join our dynamic team as a Scottsdale Golf Assistant Manager, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operations of our renowned Fit.Build.Play facilities and helping to drive the success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.
- Leading and developing the team through coaching, feedback and training.
- Delivering best-in-class custom fitting experiences.
- Building golf clubs to Scottsdale's high standards.
- Maintaining excellent store standards and stock control.
- Managing performance and ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.
- Taking responsibility for the store in the Manager's absence.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail management or supervisory role, ideally within the golf, sports, leisure or premium retail sector.
- Proven experience managing day-to-day store operations, driving commercial performance and achieving sales and profitability targets.
- A strong track record of coaching colleagues to improve performance and achieve individual and team objectives.
- Experience managing rotas, delegating workload and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Confident in handling performance management, conducting regular feedback conversations and supporting recruitment, onboarding and training.
- Experience monitoring stock levels, inventory control and merchandising to maximise sales opportunities.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse KPIs, identify trends and implement actions to improve store performance.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements and operational procedures.
- Knowledge of golf equipment, custom fitting and club building is desirable; a passion for golf and a willingness to develop technical expertise is essential.
- Proficient in using retail systems, Microsoft Office and point-of-sale software.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the confidence to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager and make sound operational decisions.
Pay: £37,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
