The role involves creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for service users, while contributing to the planning and delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will support individuals to maximise their independence, exercise choice, and maintain their dignity and wellbeing.
The post holder will provide skilled day-to-day social and emotional support, responding to individual needs with compassion, professionalism, and initiative. They will promote positive outcomes for service users while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, responsibility, and care. Working on an as-and-when basis, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, service users, families, carers and other professionals as required. They will carry out their duties in accordance with CQC standards, Adult Social Care policies and procedures, and relevant legislation, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred services.
