Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled 360 excavator operator to join our dynamic construction team working on high-profile infrastructure projects. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty 360-degree excavators to perform precise digging, lifting, and material handling tasks essential for the successful progression of the project. Your expertise will contribute to efficient site development, ensuring safety and quality standards are met at every stage. Duties
- Operate 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently across various site locations, ensuring optimal performance during excavation, loading, and material movement activities
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of machinery to verify mechanical integrity and report any issues promptly
- Follow detailed site plans and instructions to execute digging, trenching, grading, and lifting tasks with precision
- Maintain clear communication with ground personnel and supervisors to coordinate movements and ensure safety protocols are upheld
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks on excavators to maximize equipment uptime and longevity
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE and following site-specific safety procedures
- Support other team members with additional duties as required to meet project deadlines
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge of excavator components, controls, and troubleshooting techniques
- Proven experience operating 360 excavators in a construction environment, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Valid commercial driving license with relevant endorsements for operating heavy machinery on public roads if required
- Excellent understanding of site safety protocols and ability to work in a fast-paced environment under supervision
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and site instructions accurately
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination on-site
- Physical stamina and agility to perform demanding tasks throughout long shifts

Pay: £21.50-£22.00 per hour
