We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Waiter to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating effectively with kitchen staff and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during meals and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, condiments, and service stations
- Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately, providing correct change or receipts as needed
- Assist in setting up the dining area before service and clearing after closing
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Experience in guest services, with a focus on creating positive customer interactions is desirable
- Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
