Purpose of Role
To assist in the assembly of complex mechanical and electronic artworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Drilling holes
- Soldering
- Mechanical part assembly
- Organising parts
Requirements
We are looking for a mechanically minded person with a keen interest in gaining technical experience within the installation art industry. This role would suit an engineering student or recent graduate.
Hours
10-6pm with a 1 hour lunch break (summer hours June - August are 8-4pm)
Up to 4 days a week Monday-Thursday
Contract
3 month initial freelance contract, possibility to extend
