Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment across our hotel. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous operational efficiency.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
- Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs when necessary
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure seamless operation of automated systems
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs and reports for all work performed
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or upgrades to existing systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during maintenance activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal clients’ needs promptly and professionally
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles within industrial or manufacturing environments
- Strong electrical experience, including working with PLCs and electrical schematics
- Mechanical knowledge with skills in welding, machine repair, and general troubleshooting
- Familiarity with reading technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals
- Demonstrated leadership or supervising experience in a maintenance setting
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

Pay: £24,420.00-£45,712.82 per year
