Teaching Assistant - Maternity Cover
Start date: 1st September 2026
Salary: Grade 3 SP 4-6 (fte £25,185 - £25,989 / Actual £19,920 - £20,556 per annum)
Contract Type: Part Time - Temporary (35 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)
Castle Manor Academy is seeking to appoint a committed Teaching Assistant to support learning across Years 7 to 11, both in the classroom, and in small group interventions across our mainstream SEND provision. This is to cover the maternity leave of an experienced colleague.
Applicants would be required to have achieved at least a C grade in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent, and have previous experience of working with children with additional needs, ideally in a secondary school setting.
