Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. All roles are paid positions, offering an opportunity to develop valuable skills within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and organise orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent service
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Monitor guest behaviour and promote responsible alcohol service
- Assist in setting up and clearing tables when necessary
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently, including food safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential
- Good understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing cash register operations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers
- A friendly, approachable demeanour with a positive attitude towards work and guests
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or shifts as required by the business
