Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation and cooking within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen setting. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Cook and assemble meals according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and labelled appropriately
- Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks as required
- Serve meals to customers in a courteous and professional manner when needed
- Cooking burgers, loaded fries, and other menu items
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or catering environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience with meal preparation and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with serving procedures in a hospitality setting
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and working as part of a team
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
