About the role
Key Precision Ltd. is an established precision engineering company in Cannock, Staffordshire. We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator to programme, set and run our Fanuc-controlled twin-spindle lathes, producing precision components to tight tolerances. You will work in a clean, well-equipped shop alongside a skilled, supportive team, with a steady order book that means genuine long-term stability.
What you'll do
- Programme, set, operate and prove out Fanuc/Mitsubishi-controlled CNC lathes (twin-spindle).
- Produce precision components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings.
- Carry out tool changes and machine adjustments to maintain quality and output.
- Complete routine maintenance and daily safety checks.
- Work to our Health, Safety and quality standards at all times.
What we're looking for
- CNC programming experience – preferably.
- Twin-spindle CNC lathe experience – essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Fanuc/Mitsubishi controls – essential.
- Minimum 3 years' CNC turning experience.
- Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- High attention to detail and a real commitment to quality.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
