Team Member- Activity Venue and Bar (Hereford)

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be welcoming customers, hosting activities, serving behind the bar and helping to maintain the high standards our guests expect. Above all, we're looking for people with a positive attitude, great communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure every visitor leaves happy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving a range of drinks and food and handling bar service
- Hosting and supervising activities for groups of all sizes, ensuring sessions run smoothly, safely and on time
- Monitoring all areas of the venue to ensure safety, behaviour and cleanliness standards are followed at all times
- Assist with stock management, including stock rotation, restocking shelves, and accepting and organising deliveries
- Manage time and communicate effectively with team members during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth operations
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming, fun atmosphere by being approachable, friendly and being available to assist guests throughout their visit
- Operate the till to process transactions, including activity check-ins, drink sales and general purchases
- Support general day-to-day venue operations as required
About You:
- Previous hospitality, bar, leisure, or customer service experience
- Confident, friendly, and comfortable interacting with guests of all ages and group sizes
- A strong team player who communicates well and supports colleagues during busy periods
- Quick-thinking and able to use your initiative when the venue gets fast-paced
- Independent and proactive when bookings are slow
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in your approach to work
- Comfortable handling tills, cash, and card transactions accurately
- Available to work evenings, weekdays and weekends
- Calm under pressure and able to maintain a positive attitude during busy shifts
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
