Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Experienced Registered Residential Care Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant care home dedicated to providing exceptional senior care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, management expertise, and a deep understanding of assisted living, dementia care, and care home practices. Responsibilities
- Lead the overall management of the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and best practices in senior and dementia care.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including Alzheimer’s and other dementia-related conditions.
- Supervise and support care staff, fostering a positive team environment through effective leadership, supervision, and ongoing training.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and accuracy in line with healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate care services, including assessments, treatments, and health monitoring.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff schedules, incident reports, and regulatory compliance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback from residents, families, and staff to enhance service quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living or Residential home environments with a strong background in senior care and dementia management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or management experience within a care home setting.
- In-depth knowledge of care plans development and implementation for residents with complex needs such as Alzheimer’s disease.
- Expertise in medication administration protocols and adherence to healthcare regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with residents’ families, healthcare providers, and team members.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail in maintaining compliance documentation.
- Compassionate approach combined with proactive problem-solving skills to ensure resident well-being at all times.
