Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Level 3/4 Mechanic or Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose faults accurately and perform necessary repairs using appropriate tools.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical components.
- Perform heavy lifting when required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs carried out.
- Assist with installation of new equipment and modifications as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating excellent organisational skills.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £26,055.15-£53,099.14 per year
