We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. The right candidate must be over 25 and have a full UK drivers license.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and clean-up of construction sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment as required.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced tradespeople.
- Maintain a tidy work environment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Perform manual labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Driving and delivering aggregate and material to site.
Skills
- Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks effectively.
- Basic knowledge of construction practices is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors and customers.
- Attention to detail to ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
