Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weekend Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our guest accommodation, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred, alongside janitorial expertise. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about delivering high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to the highest standards
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish amenities as required
- Vacuum, dust, mop floors, and clean windows to maintain a pristine environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linen stock
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organising linen
- Maintain organised storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Janitorial or cleaning experience is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work weekends and unsociable hours as required
- Reliable transport or proximity to the workplace is preferred
