About Combe Grove
Combe Grove is a centre for advanced health and wellbeing in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath with a focus on evidence-based practices and long-term lifestyle change. We welcome guests from across the UK and internationally to experience our retreats, wellness stays, treatments, movement programmes and educational events.
Our stunning location informs all that we do. Located within 70 acres of woodland and meadow, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Bath, the Estate provides clients and members with a tranquil and nurturing space to rest, restore and reset in nature.
Our team combines the latest medical research with the restorative power of nature to help those who pass through our boundaries to reconnect with the primary needs of mind and body and leave with a greater sense of wellness, increased vitality and a sense of restored calm.
This exceptional person will have a keen interest in health and wellbeing, a passion for the natural world and be dedicated to helping young people make the most of life's opportunities. It would also be an asset to the business if the individual has come from a clinical background or has experience in a business focusing on improving metabolic health. A strong personal commitment to, and achievement in, a discipline which is important to our growing Combe Grove community would also be advantageous. These include cycling, walking, tennis, swimming or running; or any of the 12 treatments that we offer including Acupuncture, Counselling and Psychotherapy, Cranial Sacral Osteopathy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Homeopathy, Herbal Medicine, Myofascial Release, Naturopath, Physiotherapy, Reflexology, Kinesiology and Shiatsu.
As guardians of the Estate, it is our objective to make the most of the beautiful countryside setting to best support our clients on their wellness journey through nutrition, activity, and mental reset. With an established organic Kitchen Garden at its heart, Combe Grove grows most of its food providing wonderful vegetables for our nutritionists and talented chefs to prepare.
Our commitment to the environment ensures the land management team uses permaculture practices including no-dig to help proliferate biodiversity in this extremely special part of the Bath countryside. This helps to conserve its ecological health for future generations. Environmental responsibility is at the heart of all decision-making to ensure this land is left richer and more sustainable than we found it.
As health and wellbeing are central to all that we do, Combe Grove operates a 'No smoking and No Alcohol' policy for all the team, volunteers and visitors throughout the Estate.
