Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part Time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in commercial environments, including offices, retail spaces, and other public areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas regularly
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents or contamination during cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning equipment and supplies
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
