ACS Access & Maintenance Ltd are recruiting HGV Drivers / Trackmat Handlers to join our growing team delivering specialist trackway solutions across the UK.
This is a hands-on, labour-intensive role, ideal for candidates who are physically fit, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering, installing and removing track mats at client sites
- Operating HGV vehicles safely and efficiently
- Supporting site set-up and breakdown of trackway systems
- Completing all safety checks, paperwork, and risk assessments
- Working in line with strict health & safety procedures
- Travelling nationwide and working away from home when required
Requirements
Essential:
- HGV Class C (Class 2) Licence (clean)
- Driver CPC (DCPC)
- Tachograph Card
- Flexible to work days, nights, weekends and stay away
- Physically fit – this is a manual, labour-intensive role
Preferred (Training can be provided):
- Telehandler Licence / Experience
Pay & Hours
- Minimum 50 hours paid per week (over 7 days)
- All shifts paid at a minimum of 10 hours per day
Rates:
- Basic: £16.28 per hour
- Monday–Friday: £162.84 per day
- Weekends & Nights: £244.26 per day
Overtime (after 10 hours per shift):
- Monday–Friday: x1.333
- Weekends & Nights: x1.5
